Mission Statement

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to creating an inclusive and resourceful environment that equips students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the legal field. Given the underrepresentation of Black lawyers and overrepresentation of Black Americans in the criminal justice system, the Black Pre-Law Society is dedicated to promoting equitable justice by supporting and ensuring the success of Black pre-law students. As such, we provide a voice to Black pre-law students through publication, grant access to events with top-tier professionals in the legal field, and offer service initiatives that engage with some of the most neglected communities in New York City.

We seek to empower our members to realize their full potential and make a lasting impact on the world of law and beyond. We are dedicated to providing a platform that inspires excellence and promotes the pursuit of justice.
